When the days last light dips below the trees
And the stars begin to shine
The evenings peace is broken now
by voices raised up on high
And slowly I begin to realize that nothing's changed and I just can't take it anymore

Laying in the would-be peace of a would-be silent night
The bickering below me keeps me up until the light creeps over the trees
I contemplate the thought that maybe change is nothin but a myth
And slowly I, try to accept the fact that still nothing's changed
And I just can't breath any more.

I feel I'm losing control
I'm slipping but I won't let go
And the snickering of demons holds no more weight than angle's sighs
But there are things that I still don't know

And now that all this time has passed
And the night is still and calm
The battle rages on inside my head
I won't sleep til it's won
